This is the homepage for the Masters (Part III) and undergraduate lecture courses on quantum theory, quantum information theory, quantum computation and quantum foundations taught by members of our group.
For Masters courses all the relevant course materials - lecture notes, example sheets, etc. along with recommended books and other reading, and information on example classes - are either linked from this page or on moodle.
We offer four Masters courses in 2022-23:
- Dr Sergii Strelchuk - Quantum Computation (M24 examinable)
- Dr Thorsten Wahl - Tensor Networks (M8 non-examinable)
- Prof Benjamin Béri - Topological Quantum Matter (L16, examinable)
- Dr Berry Groisman - Topics in Quantum Foundations (L16 non-examinable)
Other Masters courses the group has offered in previous years include:
- Prof Nilanjana Datta - Quantum Information Theory (24 lectures)
- Prof Adrian Kent - Quantum Information, Foundations and Gravity (16 lectures)
Course materials for the 2019-20 Part IB course on Quantum Mechanics (taught by Adrian Kent) and the 2021-22 Part II course on Quantum Information and Computation (taught by Richard Jozsa) are also available on the menu on the left of this page.
